Come up with a gameplan

Posted on April 17 2013 in idea

Don't wait until the last minute.Like everything in life procrastinating is very stressful and often times doesn't result in your best work. This is especially true in prepping for a criminal jury trial. Due to the amount of work involved, the unknown factors of trial, and the fact that a client's future rests in your hands you should not wait until the last minute. Start thinking about your trial when the case gets set. Start thinking of themes, cross examination, opening and closing idea. Do anything to get the creative juices flowing early. That way when you actually start putting pen to paper you have some ideas in mind.香港牛栏

Come up with a gameplan. I always find it less stressful when I give myself deadlines on when to do things. For example you can write a list of all the tasks you need to complete for your jury trial. Trial brief, voir dire, opening, cross, jury instructions, etc. Then give yourself deadlines on when to finish these items. 最流行的室內風格有哪些

Lastly use a trial notebook. I can't tell you how many young attorneys I see that do not use a trial notebook. Whether they don't feel it is important, or simply they do not know how to put it together. A trial notebook is your battle plan for the trial. It keeps everything together in once place so you have every aspect of the trial in a binder and you're not flipping through a brief case, or a box of paper trying to find that cross examination.

Litigating a jury trial is hard work.Invisalign
